April Week 3: Easy Review Activities
Hey there teachers!
Here are three engaging activities that will enhance your students' Spanish learning experience. They will master the Spanish alphabet, practice spelling color words, and identify adorable little bugs! Keep in mind that these activities are optional. If you are short on time this week, simply select one activity or present the digital lesson only. Don't fret – focusing on the digital lesson alone will still showcase you as the wonderful Spanish teacher!
1. The Alphabet: 10 Minutes!
Supplies Needed: Download and print off the alphabet poster, or you can use your classroom alphabet and just add the letter Ñ to it. Teachers, print off the poster on the right to use as a "cheat sheet". Read the pronunciation column as you would read English.
Kids adore flaunting their ABC skills in English, and guess what? The thrill spills over to Spanish too! Once they conquer the Spanish alphabet, get ready for a chorus of proud repetitions. Just hit play on the audio file for a magical ABC lesson. I recommend jazzing it up with a playful pointer or a magic wand for pointing to the letters. And for extra fun, pass the baton to a student to lead the class in reciting the letters!

2. Spell the Colors: 10 Minutes
Supplies Needed: Download and print off the color visuals. You can leave them intact or cut them into individual flashcards.
This breezy little task brings the kiddos' Spanish alphabet skills to life! Just hit play on the audio file to groove and spell out the color words in Spanish in a jiffy! Again, I recommend jazzing it up with a playful pointer or a magic wand for pointing to the letters . And for extra fun, pass the baton to a student to lead the class in spelling the colors!

3. Bugs: 10 Minutes
Supplies Needed: Download and print off the bug visuals. For each bug you have a large and small visual and word flashcard. You can leave them intact or you can cut them up to play matching games.
Little ones love diving into the world of bugs and mastering their Spanish names. This week's adventure is a piece of cake! Just hit play on the audio file below, sit back, and let the bug-tastic Spanish activity unfold effortlessly by pointing to the pictures of the bugs as they are taught.
If your students enjoy to play a Memory Game, turn over the large and small bug visuals and your students can take turns turning two over at a time to try to find a match! If you teach children who are old enough to read, you can play a memory game in which they have to match a picture with the written flashcard. Have a blast!

4. Bugs Coloring Sheets: 10 Minutes each
Supplies Needed: Download and print off the bug coloring sheets.
Your picasso artist students will enjoy coloring the bugs they are learning how to say in Spanish. Have them practice saying the names of the bugs before, during, and after they are done coloring them. Snap a picture of one of the finished works of art and send it home on your app for parents to see! When you send their finished masterpieces home, coach your students to teach their parents and family members how to say the names of the bugs in Spanish!
