 DECEMBER Week 3: EASY BREEZY REVIEW 

Hey there, teachers! 🎉  
Get ready to dive into some fun and easy review activities that will help reinforce Spanish from the digital lesson. No Spanish? No problem! 🌟 You and your students will pick up new words in no time. Try out the activities below and let the language adventure begin! 🚀


1. La Ropa: The Clothes: (5 Minutes)

Supplies Needed:  Download and print off the clothing visuals. Cut them into individuals and laminate them if you can. 
 During the chilly winter months, we get to help kids bundle up in cozy gear like hats, mittens, and boots! 🧣🧤👢 To make it even more fun, you'll listen to the audio file below entitled; "Weather News Broadcast" in which a weather person gives the forecast and suggests what you should wear on cold, frosty days. (See the vocabulary table below for the list of winter great that is taught.) ❄️ After the weather person suggests a clothing item, she breaks out in a song, repeating the item several times to a jazzy tune. Be sure to sing along with her and encourage your students to sing as well. I like to pretend I am holding a microphone when singing and my students have fun pretending they are holding a microphone too! ​When you are ready play the audio file.  As the audio file plays, show the kids pictures of the winter clothes.

2. PUT ON & TAKE OFF YOUR WINTER GEAR: (10 minutes)

Imagine how amazing it will be when you can tell your students in Spanish to "Put on your jacket!" or "Take off your boots!" 🧥👢 In colder climates, you'll be using these super handy phrases every single day for 4-5 months straight—talk about a game changer! ❄️

This is exactly how you transition into creating a bilingual classroom, where Spanish becomes part of your everyday routine. 🇪🇸 The power of these simple, everyday commands cannot be underestimated. Not only are you giving your students the language they need to communicate in Spanish, but you’re also making it a natural, fun part of your day-to-day life! 🌟

The more you use these phrases, the more confident and comfortable both you and your students will feel speaking Spanish. Little by little, you'll notice how easily Spanish becomes a part of the flow in your classroom. 🙌 It’s the start of something wonderful!
