 NOVEMBER week 3: EASY breezy Review 

Now it’s Your Time to Shine!
Get ready for fun, easy review activities to reinforce Spanish from the digital lesson. No Spanish? No problem! You and your students will pick up new words quickly. Try one or both of these activities—let the adventure begin!

1. dishes & sliverware: (10-15 MINUTES)

Make sure to add the pictures of dishes and silverware to your bulletin board this week! Use it as a quick daily review to remind your students how to say each word in Spanish. You can also play the audio file to help reinforce the vocabulary during your review sessions. I've included a dishes cheat sheet, a grammar note  and a picture gallary for you below. 

Now you’ll be able to use these Spanish words during breakfast and lunchtime, making the learning even more practical and fun! With regular practice and repetition, you're helping your students quickly and confidently master these useful Spanish words. Keep up the great work—you’re setting them up for success!

MINI GRAMMAR LESSON: FROM PLURAL TO SINGULAR NOUNS

2. Super Simple Table-Setting ActivitY (15 MINUTES)

This fun and easy activity uses a simple song that repeats to a familiar children's tune, making it perfect for all ages! Each verse substitutes a different dish or piece of silverware, helping children learn the words in Spanish while having fun setting the table.

Steps to Make It Super Easy: 
1. Play the Song: Play the song "La Mesa" from the Digital Lesson where Señora Theresa sets the table. 
2. Set the Table: Use the dishes from your school's kitchen or bring in paper plates and plastic silverware. Have each student take turns setting the table in Spanish:
   - One child places the plates, another the napkins, another the forks, and so on.
   - Or, hand each child one item (like a plate or napkin) and let them set their own place setting.
3. Sing Along: As they set the table, sing along using the simple, repetitive lyrics from the song!
4. Compliment in Spanish: Be sure to compliment your students in Spanish as they set the table! Celebrate their accomplishment in learning Spanish.
   
🪅 Bonus Activity: 🪅​ After the meal, play the "Clearing the Table" audio file and practice clearing the table together, reinforcing the vocabulary.

This activity is perfect for November as we approach Thanksgiving when many families gather for a big meal and set the table together. Toddlers might need a bit more help, but they’ll love being part of the fun too!
